Sabrage is the technique of opening a bottle of sparkling wine with a cavalry saber instead of the usual cork-popping method.

I can bring the full sabrage masterclass experience to you — AT YOUR VENUE. This is a great option for companies planning team-building events or for groups celebrating milestones like birthdays, weddings or anniversaries.
To ensure a smooth and safe experience, your space should:
Have enough open outdoor area (a terrace, courtyard or garden works best) & Allow for glass handling and sabering in a secure setting.
I will provide all necessary equipment and guide each guest through the experience.
Travel included up to 20 km from Reims – additional distance is subject to a travel fee.

I host sabrage workshops at L’Artelier dans ma cour & 6ème sens – a trendy champagne bar and art gallery in Hermonville (only 10-minute drive from Reims).
What to expect
Training and practice of the technique of sabrage – uncorking the bottle with a cavalry saber – followed by guided champagne tasting.
Duration: 1h30
Price: 75 euros per person
Participants: Minimum of 2 guests / Maximum of 20 guests (for larger groups, please contact me to check availability)

Disclaimer
For the sabrage experience in Hermonville, we provide 1 bottle to saber per 2 guests, along with plenty of empty bottles for practice. it is possible to purchase more bottles on site. Safety equipment, including protective glasses and gloves, is supplied, and we will guide you through a full safety procedure before the workshop begins.
Children are welcome to join for a 5 € fee per child. A selection of soft drinks will be provided for them. However, parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times during the event.
Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities, and we aim to ensure a memorable experience for all participants.
